The Academy Plaza Hotel is a family owned business with 21 years of experience in providing exceptional guest service.
The hotel is located just off O’Connell Street near the Spire, and only a short walk from old Temple Bar, the shopping and business district, Croke Park, the Convention Centre Dublin and Rotunda Hospital.
It is easy to reach from Dublin Airport as it is well connected with all city transport i.e. buses, Luas service and DART rail.
The hotel comprises of 304 rooms, with a variety to choose from including single, double, twin, triple and quadruple rooms, as well as executive rooms and wheelchair accessible rooms. All rooms are newly refurbished and have free WiFi, air conditioning, laptop safe, flat screen TV, phone, iron and board, shower or a bath, hairdryer and a work desk.

The hotel has a bar and a restaurant as well as complimentary newspaper available daily in the restaurant. On the ground floor there are fitness facilities which are available from 06:00 to 23:00.
For larger corporate events and meetings there are three different size conference rooms, with the largest room facilitating up to 120 delegates. Meeting room accessories are LCD projector, screen, whiteboard, flip-chart, pads, pens and stationery with refreshments. Upon request, additional catering requirements can be arranged.
Parking is available in a car park opposite the hotel with a discounted rate for guests. Luggage assistance is available 24 hours and storage is available after check out up to eight hours or early before check in.
Check in time is 14:30 and check out is 12 noon. Early check ins are possible if the rooms are ready and late check outs can be arranged in advance, fees apply.
