Merry Ploughboy Pub Traditional Nights

This event is an excellent first night ice-breaker or final night farewell evening for meeting delegates.On arrival, guests enter the atmospheric and historic Merry Ploughboy Pub – established in the 18th Century. A four course meal of excellent Irish home cooking precedes the show. There is a great buzz in the pub as people chat and enjoy the ambiance and hospitality before the entertainers take to the stage. This pub is owned and run by tradiitonal musicians who have a hands-on approach to everything – including performing at the shows every night – and the high energy show is everything you could wish for in Irish music. The superb Irish dancers will literally mesmerise guests with their foot work. The audience participation, engagement, humour and banter from the stage, will leave guests in no doubt they have been treated to an exceptional introduction to Irish culture. The show is over at 10pm allowing ample time for delegates to linger afterwards or return to their hotels.if they have an early start next day. Capacity at the show is 200pax plus another 60pax in a private room.Transport solutions also offered.The musicians and dancers are also available for off-site hire and this is frequently booked where capacity is exceeded or where a group wishes to have exclusivity in a different location.
